All this jailbreaking threads is like Chinese to me. I'm a complete noob. I need to learn from basic. I have a non jailbreak Touch with 1.1.3. Where should I start? Thanks.
Follow teslanauts search metaphor. And downgrade to 1.1.1 to have an amazing start. Then go to jailbreakme.com and select appsnap. There you go, uber-jailbreak. WOW 219 posts as a noob. i had about 10.
just type in what ur looking for in youtube and i bet u money that somebody has made a video about it or at least this is how i learned about jailbreaking and stuff
first u need to downgrade, so connect ur ipod to itunes 1. hold down the power button (top) and home button until the ipod tab disappears 2.then let go of the power but keep hold of the home button until it reappears in itunes. 3. shift-click restore on itunes and select 1.1.1 firmware Note: u can get the firmware from here http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25805&highlight=firmware apple phobos just go to that site and press crtl-f and then type in 1.1.1 then choose the firmware, ends in .ispw 4. downgrade then go to jailbreakme.com 5. go through jailbreak process shown here http://youtube.com/watch?v=TXfcnO4kjB4 6. then make sure u have the requirements listed here, i recommend this jailbreak also (most successful for me) http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30562&highlight=simplest windows or choose any other method as u can see i used the search so....yea. i just spoon fed it to u because im not in all of a sh*ty mood today. so the morale is search it can be ur friend
