Well, my initial thought is that the exploit found in 5.1 will probably not be present in 6.0. The only way I can see this happening is if the Apple developers just copy the majority of 5.x with a few changes and make it 6.0...and if that's the case, that tells me that 6.0 will be an insignificant upgrade. On the other hand, I assume that he knows what he's talking about, and the exploit will likely be present in the next release. It would suck ass tho if 6.0 comes out and his exploit(s) are gone, and not having released it for 5.1, it'll still be wasted.
I say we wait until WWDC and see if iOS 6 is announced/released. If not, then release it for 5.1 and hopefully they find more exploits for when iOS 6 comes out a few months later.
If? I really doubt that it won't be released in late summer/early fall. I don't see Apple changing their practice of a new iOS on the same schedule they've kept to religiously since `07...
