Hello, this is our first post on the board. We are the developer for pocket god and we just submitted our 4th update to apple on Sunday, hopefully it will be out by tonight or tomorrow. We have been working hard to submit a new update every sunday night since we released the game at the begninning of January. Our previous updates include things like flicking a pygmy into a volcano and have it erupt sending boiling lava over the other pygmies on the island, adding an earthquake mode where you can tilt the pygmies off the island or even turn the phone upside down and watch them hang and our latest update which will be out this week allows you to create storm clouds, electrocute one of your pygmies and watch it blow up sending everyone else flying. The way we implemented the lightning even lets you spell out things with the lightning before it shocks someone. Coming up we plan on adding more features like this, but eventually we want to mold the game into a more replayable experience. We definately hear people that they think the game is pretty cool but they need more to do and that is why we want to get more involved in the forum. That said, I'm trying to get a feel for what people are interested in here. At the least, we are interested in collaborating with the community where people can give us feedback and suggestions for new ideas, but it also might be interesting to some of the people here if we talk about some of the things that we run into during development of the game (technical or design wise). For the most part, our philosophy is a lot different than other developers, we plan on supporting the game for a long time and are very open about what we are planning and how we work.
