    a guide here, helped me tremendously to dual boot my laptop with Vista and Leopard today. I am a complete (well sort of) noob with this and this guide would help you guys too

    here are some tips:

    1. Remember if you are starting off on a partition with just windows, shrink the volume in the disk management control panel, then create a new volume using that Unallocated space and format it NTFS or FAT (doesnt matter) This is very important and is what got me for a little while. If you dont create a new volume, then the partition wont be recognized

    2. if you get an error message after installing, ex. i got "BOOTMGR is missing", then just put in your Vista/XP install disk and repair (there is always a repair option)

    if you still have a problem:

    1. I would highly suggest posting at insanelymac.com (no, not spamming). Yes, you could post here, but insanelymac.com is MADE FOR running leopard on an osx86 computer, and this section is not checked as often.

    2. If all else fails, PM me and i could try to help you

    let me know your thoughts

    From what I read you can just DL the image from a ******* and burn it to dvd. Hopefully I'll get around to trying it tonight and I'll let you know how it goes.
