i triend to pwn my iphone and now its stuck with black screen, help plz???
What events happened leading up to the black screen?
pwning with iPwn
I know... but what exactly was HAPPENING while it was pwning. Or did you close everything except PwnageTool, stuck it into recovery mode, then hit pwn, and did NOTHING until that happened? I need details as to what the circumstances were before you hit pwn, and the circumstances while it was pwning.
it started all good ( the pwning ) and at some point ( when i had all this console on the iphone ) the itunes just popped up and it went black
Well, perhaps iTunes randomly popping up interrupted the process of flashing the bootloader. Try putting it into DFU mode, try both ZiPhone and iLiberty+ and click enter DFU mode. Then restore.
If they aren't able to kick it into DFU mode, reply back.
can u explain me how to get there? p.s. im using mac' iliberty is not for pc only?
Or this if you're using windows:
Install it. Open it up. Go to Other Tools. Hit Enter DFU mode. If it asks you to re-plug in your iPod do so, then hit ok.
oooo i think the mac recognized it and now its restoring! tnx man!
one more thing - whats the difference between ziphone and ipwn?
By ipwn you mean PwnageTool? Well, ZiPhone enables read/write access to the file system of the firmware already installed on your iPod touch. Which means you had to restore to fresh official apple firmware at some point before jailbreaking it with ZiPhone or iLiberty+. PwnageTool on the other hand allows you to restore to custom firmware, which could already be pre-jailbroken.
