Ok so i just jailbroke my ipod touch 32g 3g 3.1.3 with spirit. Then i opened cydia and started downloading some of the stuff i had in my previous jailbreak. I finally came to downloading "fakecarrier" then i guess i changed my carrier to be too long (I'm just guessing) And it put my ipod into safe mode. Now i had this problem before and all i had to do was click restart and my iPod was back to normal. But every time i have clicked restart, it just brings me back into safe mode. I read somewhere that if this happens, then go into cydia and delete the last thing you downloaded.

Now the problem is, cydia tells me i haven't downloaded anything! Then i have tried to shift+restore, but it tells me each time "this ipod ****'s ipod cannot be restored.
Each time i try putting it into DFU mode, it just doesn't go to it. I followed 2 different videos, and 3 different guides on how to get into it. Each way was the same but it hasn't worked.

    Can anyone help me out?

It could be caused by a mobile substrate. Download SbSettings from cydia and disable each one untill the problem disappoears

I read that you had to delete "Mobile subsitute" Then reboot the device.. I deleted it, now i cant even turn it on, it's stuck at the apple logo
