Hey guys, i'm having an issue with my ipodT. when i try to plug it in (1.1.4 restore) it does wel, then in the middle of a sync it distorts and messes up. So i thought "a bad restore, so i'll do it again". Well, i'm trying to restore and its distorting AGAIN and won't finish restoring :| What can i do. (btw its a 8gb)

Are you trying to downgrade the firmware?
And otherwise, just put it in recovery mode.

Yep put it inrestore mode by pressing shift and restore..

Then a tab should show and find the firmware you want. If you dont have any click on the link in my signature.

Note: you cannot downgrade from 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 with the method I just should you

Doing this should fix your touch

If it doesnt work put your touch in recorvery mode by pressing both the home and hold button on your touch ( it should restart your touch)when the aple logo comes on let go of the hold button - your iPod must be pluged in to a computer while you do this..

I've tried both of these. i finally did get it to restore, but the distortion still happens when i plug something in...and randomly again it seems (especially if playing a game using multiple places of touch). Ideas ?

Okay, so it was doing really well for a while. Then all of a sudden BAM, i get the distortion again, i cannot get it to restore at all, DFU or Recovery. Anytime i put the cord in the ipod touch it distorts and throws error 6
