.plist and .strings convert

    i found this once before and ive tried searching and cant find it again.

    How do you convert the .plist and .string files into readable ones?

    you change the extension. They are just data files that hold text commands, you should be able to open them with a simple text editor.

    i know how to open them but some are like imposible to read.

    well i open them on my mac and there a jumbeled mess it looks nothing like what ive seen before its kinda like html correct ?

    In terminal on iPod:

    plutil -c xml1 /exact/directory/of/plist

    SSH there again, and then open it with notepad or w/e.
