I tried to install the beta version of 2.0 on my iPod the other day, and i think it messed up. Now, my iPod wont turn on at all. It wont go into recovery mode or even connect to my computer. Pleez, any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way, do you think apple would be able to tell that i was messing with it if i had to send it in?

Say you left it charging and there was the new 1.1.4 update, so you let it update and sync while you were sleeping. When you woke up it wouldn't turn on and wasn't recognized in iTunes.

Easier to get a new one rather than possibly mess up this one further (which probably can't happen)

I have tried everything. It wont reply to anything. How could ziphone help if it wont even connect to the computer? and yes, i searched before hand. Everyone says to hold the power button and home key to put it into recovery mode... but still, nothing happens.

    I can Help

I helped my friend when this happened to him.

All you have to do is plug the USB cord into a different outlet and restart the comp..

If that doesnt work, try pluging the ipod into a different computer, this should solve the problem

    If this works PM me
I hope it works out for you
