    Why are you without warranty?
All iPod touches have the year warranty and you can still restore.

You don't have to get a physical "warranty" with it.

Any iPod that is purchased comes with a one year warranty. They can tell when it was made/purchased so you don't need a physical piece of paper saying you have a "warranty".

How many times do you need to hear it? All iPod Touches are still under warranty because you could not have bought it more than the year ago warranty. If it is indeed an iPod Touch, that means it came from Apple's production line and it does have warranty.
