Hi , not long ago i made a topic about a wireless router, and someone advised me to get a certain kind as apossed to another one. But i cant remember what it was. I think it was a few numbers followed by a "g" or something, any ideas?

well the touch only supports 802.11 g . I think it is best to get a backwards compatible router just in case you need it.
802.11 n is expensive so you don't really need it unless you have high speed internet (above 50 Mbps or so) Your best bet is a 802.11 g /b router or even 802.11n . Whatever you get just make sure that if you have cable internet get a "cable" router or if you have ADSL internet get a "ADSL" router and of course make sure it is 802.11g compatible

Yes mate i am a cable user and have found a 802.11g router which is very cheap.
here is a link of it http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....7897&_trksid=p3907.m32&_trkparms=tab=Watching

Can you confirm this will work for an ipod touch?
