If read a lot of threads about people crying that they messed their touch, and now it wont start... and the first reply is the how to FORCE RESTORE THE WRONG WAY!

This is the CORRECT WAY on how to restore! The other method may work... but its not as great as this method.

    1. Turn off iPod completely... and open iTunes on your computer

    2. On the iPod, hold the Home button, and then connect the iPod cable... while holding the Home button.

    3. The iPod will power on if it all goes well... but keep holding the Home button

    4. The iPod will then show the Connect to iTunes image

    5. iTunes will then ask to restore you iPod

Now... if your iPod keeps on restarting ( You slide the slider, and then it goes back to it after a while ) your either you have to Restore... or if you had SSH on and WiFi, then you would have to repair the N45AP.plist file. If that doesnt help it... restore.

If your iPod turns on, and then goes into the Slider screen, and then it restarts COMPLETElY back to the Apple symbol... your going to have to force restore.
