i had just placed alot of movies and songs onto my touch, it all fit fine and there was about 5 gigs left on it. i unplugged it out of itunes then proceeded to add some apps. that all went well. so i have my ipod full of songs videos and apps but it had a low battery so i plugged it back into itunes and poof! all my songs were gone. instead theres about 10 gigs of "other" in its place. i thought it was a space issue so i deleted the apps, but that only scratched the surface theres still like 9.5 gigs of "other" on my touch. what happened?

Your iTunes data probably got corrupted.

    Delete /var/mobile/iTunes_Control and resync it.

Please don't do what you did in the title. It's just rather annoying and won't get anybody to help more than they would normally.
