I jailbroke my ipod with ziphone 3.0 and everything was fine but i pressed the "Jailbrake + Activate" button and now my ipod touch 16gb is in this "BSD root: md0, major 2, minor 0" thing.

Itunes cant detect the ipod. I tried the "Hard reset" but it didnt work. I let the battery run low to turn it off but when i tried to restart it, it started with this bsd thing again.

Hope you help me and sorry if i made mistakes(bad english).

    STEPS TO TAKE:
    1. upon recieving BSD root error, press and hold home & standby until the screen goes black.
    2. quickly release and then repress and hold the home button - this will cause the connect to itunes screen to appear
    3. in ziphoneGUI, press "Click to show advanced features"
    4. under "Change phone Mode", press "Normal Mode"
wait, and the phone will reboot into the normal operating mode!

Try This and next time search this is a
frequent problem so there are answers on this site
but i dont wanna sound like a push over hope this helps.

Ok since you said you have an IPOD TOUCH!! you should had pressed the jailbreak for IPOD TOUCH an not the one for the IPHONE since you don't have one. That was your first smart move. Now open ziphone and click ADVANCE FEATURES then click the restore to DFU MODE. Now try to recover it in iTunes. Notice how steps are in capitals since you have a hard time understanding directions!

I know that it wasnt the most intelligent move. but my problem is that itunes cant detect the ipod, so ziphone cant restore to DFU mode.
