I can't save on the gpSPhone and the NES. I read about changing permissions to 777, but I don't get it. I have a 1.1.4 Jailbroken iPod Touch by the way.

    Huh........
I'm running it on 1.1.4 and it's saving games. There is one small problem that I found and it's that you can't use the "overwrite saved game" function. You need to make a new save every time and then just delete the saved games you aren't using. Otherwise it's working perfectly fine

As for the permissions thing......... Yes, if you don't allow the emulator permission to save the game, it can't. Thats what the 777 thing is.

The easiest way to fix it is to download "mobile finder" from the installer if you don't already have it. Use it to go to your ROMs folder, tap modify and change the permissions that way.

I got it working. I just did 777 just like you. That worked for NES too.

jeez type this in terminal if everytime you overwrite save, it gets deleted
    chown -hR mobile /var/mobile/Media/ROMs/GBA
you should really search or at least read some topics in this section of the forum before posting
i made a guide which works for 1.1.3/1.1.4

I don't know how to type in that terminal. Is "chown" included too? How do I type in the terminal. I saw your guide before posting this, but I never god it. What is chmod anyway?

well i did say if anyone has problem with my guide, just PM me (private message)
chmod is what you're doing when you're changing the permission to 777 or 775
install Term-Vt100 from installers, its from category called Systems
then install SUID Lib fix from category called Tweaks 1.1.3
then install BSD Term Fix from category called Tweaks
now you should have Term-Vt100 fully working
    open Term-VT100, it says <password:_>
    type in
    Code:
    alpine
it says logged in, now you type this (after you put your games in /var/mobile/Media/ROMs/GBA)
    press Enter after each code
    Code:
    chown -hR mobile /var/mobile/Media/ROMs/GBA
    Code:
    /bin/chmod -R 777 /var/mobile/Media/ROMs/GBA
    Code:
    /bin/chmod -R 777 /Applications/gpsPhone.app
    ^spaces + capitalization are necessary^
    now you can save games
