So last night I decided it would be a good idea to get 1.1.3 via ijailbreak. Turns out that was a big mistake. The problem I'm getting is that it is now stuck at the reload screen with the Apple on it. Any suggestions as to how to get it to work?

    solution

Press both home and sleep button and after ~5 seconds release the sleep button and just press down the home button. Wait 10-15 seconds and another logo will show up.

When you tried to force a restore, did you make sure it was plugged into a computer? Were you using the proper version of ijailbreak as well?
