    If i jailbreak my ipod with redsn0w will i lose all my stuff?

    jailbreaks dont erase data. thats called restoring.

    no, but your best bet would be to use blackra1n its the quickest,safest,easiest get it here>> www.blackra1n.com sometimes your ipod can crash during jailbreak with any program so u may want to back up ur ipod

    i know, but wen i tryed it i couldnt figure it out, and if its rly easy then i guess im just an idiot haha

    Two comments:

    1. Jailbreaking never deletes any information (unless something goes wrong during the jailbreak, which is highly unlikely).
    2. While redsn0w and blackra1n both work, blackra1n is sooo simple. All you have to do is download the blackra1n application to your computer, open it, and click a single button. It is that easy. (Although you can also find video tutorials on YouTube if you want)

    well it also depends on what device model and firmware version it has, which i dont believe he shows us

    Not all jailbreaking methods are compatible with all models/firmwares. Could you please tell us which generation iPod you have and what firmware you are currently using.

    thanks guys and to SoBe i posted this is the firmware 3.0 jailbreak forum cause im on 3.0 otherwise i would have put it in a different place. but thanks anyway
