    my ipod was working fine yesterday...this morning when i tried to turn it on, all it does it get frozen at the boot up screen...can anyone help me fix this problem?

    thanks...any help is appreciated

    If you cannot access the Springboard, I suggest you put your device in DFU mode and restore.

    When my ipod got stuck on the horrible white scrolling text when I tried to jb with ziphone (which I don't recommend

    I powered it off by holding the off and home button, then let go of all the buttons, hold down the home button and plug in your USB cable..bam DFU mode

    ...took me more than one go cause i thought my ipod was dead so was panicking a bit lol

    yeah i kno about DFU mode...but if i restore it im gonna lose all my themes and everything i downloaded for winterboard as well as all my apps right? i was trying to avoid having to lose everything...is there any other way? or any way to save everything before restoring?

    Okay here's what you do, connect your iPod through USB, use iBrickr to view the filesystem.

    If that works, you're in luck, remove the last application you installed using this method.
    If not, you may have to restore.

    This method saved my 1.1.2 from losing everything.
