    Do you have your setup like this?

    Your Theme.Theme
    ->Folders
    -->SpringBoard.app
    ---Custom Carrier Images

    Make sure you put them in the right place, like above or :

    Your Theme.Theme
    ---->Bundles
    ---------->com.apple.springboard
    ------------------>Carrier Images.

    you shouldn't change the original system files. download winterboard from cydia and place the folders mentioned above in private\var\stash\themes.******\

    Once again thank you Vesper for clarifying. I always forget to mention that. I think that everybody knows and has Winterboard. I shouldn't assume.

    this is what I did
    i replaces the files in var/mobile/library/operator bundle.bundle and it didnt work at first
    but then I realized it was because I was saving it wrong in photoshop
    I was just renaming it .png at the end instead of actually clicking .png in the drop down menu
    issue solved
    thanks for your help

    Hi@all,

    I have the same problem:

    1. I make a new image in photoshop cs3 with width 240 pixels, height 20 pixels and a transparent background. color mode: RGB-color/ 8bit. resolution: 72 pixel/inch and type my nick.

    2. I save it as Default_CARRIER_IPOD and select .png. I do the same with FSO_CARRIER_IPOD.png

    3. Then I copy and paste it into xxxx.theme/Folders/SpringBoard.app

    4. I select my theme at winterboard and there is still the old "iPod" in the upper left corner?!?!

    EDIT: ok, problem is solved. I´ve done something wrong with photoshop...

    I don´t get it...

    what do i wrong? pls help!
