Sorry guys but I've searched and did what everyone recommended but couldn't get my problem solved. When I was on the 1.1.3 Jailbreak iPod Touch, WinSCP worked just fine for me. I recently upgraded to 2.0.2 Jailbreak and I can't get WinSCP to work. I entered everything correctly

    Host Name: My IP Address
    User: root
    Password: alpine
    Port 22
    File Protocol: SFTP

and everytime I try to login, I get connection refused. I reseted my router twice and still no luck. I using the At&t built in 2wire router/modem, could that be causing my problem?

You need to install OpenSSH from Cydia first!

OMG THANK YOU Total 1337! Fix the problem... Wished someone could have said that in other threads, wouldn't have had all the headaches searching and reading.

oh and even though you have this problem fixed, filezilla is a better ssh client than winscp.

wow my old thread got revived, I guess its better to post here rather than making a new thread... Sometimes try opening your itunes and closing might do the tricked to FTP to your ipod. If not, try using iPhone Tunnel Suite 2.7 and follow this thread (assuming on 3.0 OS) http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=206096

This FTP through your ipod/iphone using the USB cord instead of wifi.

I used to use WinSCP, but now I use FileZilla. MUCH BETTER. The host is the ip showed on ur ipod. Also, you don't have to INSTALL FileZilla.
