Please help w/ computer startup problem!

    So i got my new computer built and started up but i have a problem. i cant boot windows xp. i have linux too and it boots but when i select windows from the start up menu it wants to start but it just resets the whole computer and around and around i go. this hard drive came out of my old computer so its not used to the new hardware. do i need an XP disk cuz i dont have one. can i use linux to burn a copy from off line. you know....illegally. i hate to but i aint gona buy. sorry Microsoft. i have two HDs, one with linux and one with windows. if i put only the windows one in it wont go to the start menu.

    please help. i need to sync my ipod.

    try reinstalling windows.
