i have a ipod touch 2nd gen and im having problems connecting to the internet. the ipod is showing that it is connected to the network and shows a IP address and subnet mask but no router.

i have been sreaching the web for three days now and all the basis ideas such as switching it on and off, forgetting network, renewing lease and reseting router does not work.

    so here my info:
    DHCP
    WEP
    DNS :194.168.4.100
    : 194.168.8.100

could the problem be that the router info on the ipod is not showing up and if so how is this fixed.

    any help would be great.

Have you tried manually entering the IP details to the touch?
