Hey, I need help really bad. I have an iPod touch 2G. I jailbroke it a while ago, but that has nothing to do with the issue. The problem is I get the message to connect my iPod to my iTunes when I boot up, but I don't even have iTunes anymore because I switched to Ubuntu, thinking I wouldn't need to worry about my iPod. What can I do?

Well, I would have to say go back to Windows. Although in my opinion, Windows is crap compared to Leopard, Ubuntu is barely one step up from command line operating systems, like DOS. Reinstall Windows, I used to have so many problems with gnome, so I went back to Windows. Quite frankly, Ubuntu, along with many other linux or unix based operating systems, sucks.
