ok, so about 3 weeks ago my ipod touch was acting a little buggy, i said "no big deal, i'll just restore it and jailbreak it again later" unfortunately, i wasn't near a computer, but i remembered that i could reset my ipod touch right from my ipod touch.

I go into settings, general, reset, and reset everything, thinking it'll just restore it like brand new.

after the restoring process, i noticed there was still a big pineapple with a bite out of it, instead of the apple logo like i was expecting. about 10 minutes passed and my ipod wouldn't come out of the boot screen, its been like that for 3 weeks... help me

SO... basically, i tried to restore my ipod, using the reset option in the general section of my settings ON my ipod, and now it won't connect to itunes, and wont come out of the boot screen. I've tried every way of force restoring my ipod, and all i ever get to is a screen of steve jobs saying something in what looks like russian. please help me out, i know there is NO way of bricking your ipod touch, but i just cant seem to figure out how to fix it.

and i used Winpwn 2.0.0.3 RC1 to jailbreak my ipod.

DFU restore through iTunes to a clean 2.2.1 firmware and then jailbreak again.

    Try following this:

    1. Close iTunes.
    2. Plug iPod into computer.
    3. Hold home + power buttons, 10 seconds.
    4. Release power button. (Still holding home button)
    5. After releasing power button, hold home for 10 more seconds.
    6. Your screen should be black.
    7. Open iTunes, then restore to original firmware.
    8. Enjoy iPod Touch! lol

    Tell me if it works!

You need to restore to a previous version e.g. 2.2 not 2.2.1 and make sure it is a completely fresh install not just a backup restore
