Please help new ipod touch and still problems with it!

    My ipod touch ( new one ) won't charge, again!!! my old one didn't charge either. My computer spec are:


    AMD Athlon(TM) XP 2400+
    2.00 GHz Performance Rated at 2.40 GHz
    512 MB
    Microsoft Windows XP Professional (Build Service Pack 32600)



    IS IT A PROBLEM WITH MY COMPUTER BECAUSE BOTH MY IPODS WONT CHARGE!! PLEASE I NEED A SOLUTION REALLY QUICKLY BEFORE MY 30 DAY WARRENTY RUNS OUT PLEASE!

    What happens when you plug it in..nothing?? does the battery icon change at all?

    yes it gives me the charging symbol but it doesnt charge, its been in charge for 10 hours and its still blank..

    Have you tried a different USB port, made sure it's not plugged into a hub and can you possibly try it with a different computer, to see if it's the iPod to blame?

    The fact you say your old one didn't makes the situation tilt towards PC problems.

    Are you sure it's in a USB 2.0 port, and it's on the computer and not from a hub. Have you tried a different USB cable (Maybe a friend's usb cable) If neither of them work, then you have a faulty iPod.

    If all else fails get a wall plug.

    i might get a wall plug because i tried all 6 different usb ports on my computer, and 2 different computers and a laptop... i don't know where the fault is from but im going to get a wall plug soon hopefully.
