EDIT: I know many people have viewed this thread, but none of you have posted replies... please help me.

I was having problems with the newest installer.app update and decided i should restore and re jailbreak.

I did just that and now when i go into settings to connect to my network, it connects.

But when i go to another application it drops the connection

    PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME!!!

    Thank you

It could be your DNS acting up. Try typing in http://216.239.51.99/ into Safari, and if Google shows up, you have a problem with your DNS. Your DNS is what "converts" google.com into http://216.239.51.99/ so you don't have to, but since your typing the IP address in right away, DNS is not necessary.

So, if it works, you clearly have a DNS problem.
