Come on please read carefully and slowly.

I don't know where your iPod is right now but from what I read, you have already lost everything so... just restore it back (since you can access to Restore Mode) to an original firmware.

    THEN

Make a new IPSW from this tutorial. And please (god pleaseee), read carefully and do every step SLOWLY!

Maybe it's late now for you, you should sleep and tomorrow morning, eat breakfast then with your orange juice read every step slowly and make sure you understand what you are doing!

    THEN

To boot your RUNRS jailbroken iPod touch, you just have to open a command prompt then cd to your iRecovery folder then write:

    Code:
    iRecovery -s
wait for iRecovery to boot then:

    Code:
    run rs
    THAT'S IT

Recovery Mode and DFU Mode isn't the same thing. Be careful...

Recovery Mode is the iTunes and USB Cable logo on your iPod and iTunes can recognize it as Recovery Mode iPod

DFU Mode is only an black screen resulting from the hold and power button and iTunes can't find it at all since is an unrecognized device.

    EDIT: This is recovery mode

I know. I'm talking about when you put it in dfu and iTunes goes up and you get the "iPod in recovery mode" popup.
    That recovry mode
