i jailbroke my ipod touch 2G 3.0 firmware and after a while i got the error:database popping up with loads of links (dead link apparenlty?). i looked on this forum and people said use SSH but idk how to use it plus my cyida is totally empty so i can't download the things i need to do it anyway. i can't restore my ipod because apple tries to force me to buy an update i don't want. so i jailbroke it again in the same way i did it first time and now cydia doesn't open up at all! will someone please help me, i don't have a clue and now my ipod won't even sync so i'm totally stuck! if you can't help me with that could someone at least tell me how to unjailbreak it?

    would be much appriciated

yeah i can click restore, but then it makes me buy the new update - whichi don't need or want so when i click no to the update it doesn't let me restore. it's like give us your money or you're not allowed to restore!

    i'm so screwed!

Download a firmware, and hold Ctrl as you press update, find your custom firmware, and open it.
