so everything was working great, then i went into MyMedia.app on my ipod touch, and none of the videos that i had downloaded were working. so then i went into youtube, and no videos worked. went into iPod.app, same story.

then i decided to restart my ipod, and that was my mistake.

when i restarted it, i got the problem that i ALWAYS get, it doesnt matter what i have installed. the screen became unresponsive when using an app, and there was a dimmer version of the screen when i turned it off.

so i was going to use iBackup, but i dont know what folders to get rid of in WinSCP (because it says to uninstall Summerboard and Customize)

or if there is another way to fix this, help would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks in advance.

thanks but nothing in your guide really has a fix for my solution.

btw, i didnt install something, and then this happened. it just happened out of nowhere.

so, if anyone knows what summerboard and customize folders i need to delete (to have it JUST LIKE installer uninstalls it), then that would be GREATLY appreciated

SSH in and just delete summerboard and customize apps, the directory is just under root as /Applications

so then by just deleting the apps, ibackup should work flawlessly?

thats what resprings supposed to do.. that and killboard restart ur springboard so they work. but you'll have to use that method everytime you restart your ipod. it happened to me with kate so i had to ssh and delete everything from that app and everything worked great again.
