Dev team, your pwnage tool, through no fault of yours (probably) have bricked mine, and a couple of other peoples iPoTs/iPhones. If you could please make a tool that re-flashes the bootloader, i would be very grateful and so would alotof other people. I know it's easier said than done, but please, hear me out.

Umm.... None of the iPhone Dev team have an account here.

If you want to talk to them, email them or talk to them in IRC.

It can, if it could detect the iPod long enough. iPhuc could do it too. So can ZiPhone.

The way to enter DFU, without a computer... is... (Maybe be different, last time did it is when my cousin got his iPod...)

    1. Make sure its off (LOL!!!... sorry...) and connected.

    2. Hold the Sleep/Wake and the Home button for like a minute... better to get it done right the first time...

    3. Let go of the Sleep/Wake button and keep holding the home button

    4. Hold the home button for a while until iTunes bugs you to restore...

    5. Nothing will show on the iPod...

    6. Restore, and see if that has made it work...

If you use the wrong IPSW (iPod touch on iPhone or iPhone on iPod touch), as I did, the screen won't display anything. However it can still go into DFU.
