    Okay, where is the speaker on the ipod touch 4g, where is the microphone on the iPT4, and what is that pin-sized hole next to the rear facing camera?

    Speaker is behind the home button, mic is on bottom left, and the pin sized hole is unknown by me.

    pin sized hole= mic
    speakers = the "net" looking thing on the bottom near the dock connector

    Ummmmmmmm no no and no...........Speaker is to the left of the dock connecor, it looks like a grill. The pinhole is the mic on the back.

    I'd just like to point out that the speaker's sound also comes out of the dock connector, so if you plug something in, it won't be as loud.

    while your technically correct, its not so much out of the c*ck connector as it is the grille. ive plugged it in while listening to music and it had minimal change.
