I'm a Playstation fanboy, so please excuse my blatant, pure, and of course raw, joy.

    Here it is:

Its got a front facing camera as well (and I hope to GOD that it is tied in with PSN). Anyways, yes. I'm ecstatic.

Anyone else? Or is WP7 w/ Xbox integration more your speed?

Will stick with Xbox 360 and iPhone. Not everything has to integrate, IMO. I'm betting this thing will have worse battery life than the Evo 4G...

Indeed it does. Indeed it does.

So, my next phone (if it's on Verizon... but knowing me, I'll get it regardless).

    This definitely looks sick.

I agree. My teachers has the EVO and he says it drains the battery.. .-.
But this is a cool device.

Oh, and Sony Ericsson built phones usually have amazing (!) build quality, materials, and a camera to go with it. So this should really be great, as long as they don't mess up the software side of things.

Seems like a bad thing. PSP's already have terrible battery running the embedded OS, now they are using Android it is bound to be worse.

    That's true.

I'm already in the Sony Playstation ecosystem, though, so this is interesting to me.

The only thing though: I'm not totally sure if I want a phone that is always for gaming.

Either way, I'd expect Sony to use the extra room the slider gives to boost the battery a little.

I doubt Sony will screw itself over with battery issues. The iPhone is already so dominant, competitors really have to bring out their best.
It should get a sony standard camera on the back, that easily beats the iphone's camera.
