When I create playlists on my iPod Touch iOS4.0 2nd Gen and sync them with iTunes, the playlists disappear. Is this a common problem?

That is a weird problem. Maybe a re-installation of iTunes could address the bug. Other than that, that shouldn't be happening.

I've reinstalled, now the playlist stays on my ipod, but it doesn't show up in itunes. I've always had problems with playlists though, so as long as it doesn't delete, i'm pretty satisfied

I manually manage my music, if I check Sync Music, then my whole ipod is wiped. I'll try making a playlist in iTunes
