I was wondering if u make a playlist on your iPod touch (while it's not connected to the computer), are the songs supposed to stay there permanently? Because Ive made about 3 playlists directly from my iPod, but when I plugged it in to the computer the playlists disappeared.

Maybe they are deleted when you dont manually organise your music.

It should stay on your iPod.. I just tested it and it stayed and the playlist got transferred to my iTunes.

Hmmm that's strange.. Is anyone else experiencing the problem? I would really like to make playlists on the go but can't because of this problem

Only difference that I see is that you have it set to manually sync your music, while I have it automatically sync.

Oh I'll be sure to try that when I get home. The reason I don't have it on manual is because the songs on my iPod and the ones in my library are different. So I don't want it to get wiped out
