I want to sync some videos quickly without opening iTunes and playing them. Using whatever way possible, can I watch videos after putting them on my ipod though SSH?

Do you know how long it would take to send a Video file VIA SSH?

Not very seeing as how I do it all the time. Can someone just answer the question? I want to show a few videos to my friends in class.

yes - install avplayer. then locate the movies via finder, and choose open with>avplayer.

or set finder to know that those types of files open with avplayer.

Use AVPlayer or Xlaunch from Erica Sadun to play the video file.

Zod's released a VLC player for iPod and iPhone. That would work. If it's better now? It got updated today.

He hasn't released it yet. It's only in Beta for Donaters.

Thanks guys, I had AV Player on my touch a while ago but I didn't use it and uninstalled it.
So I just put them anywhere and find then with the AP right?

As long as you can find the file to play.
