Stupid question time. Is there a way to play MP3's off my desktop computer via my wifi network on the iPod Touch? I searched and didn't come up with anything. Is this pretty impossible?

it might be possible , if developers who developed VNsea update it to play music directly from your computer.

Download simplify media you can stream all your music and music of friends to your iphone. It's a pretty good app. You have to download the software on your desktop to make it work.

The title of this thread is very misleading... Should have added a '?' at the end....

Download the firefly media server for your Touch and Computer. Once the install is done open up itunes and there should be a Shared Playlist with all of your iPods songs. If your iPod's is on, wifi and firefly are on.
