    Hey
Right, so basically i dont want to fork out loads on money on some ipod speakers
and i was wondering if there was a way of connecting your ipod with like a line-out cable,
and being able to play your ipod's music through the computer/laptop's speakers?

Also if you want to connect your ipod to a tv, can you use any cable to connect it, or an apple made product?

If anyone could write back it would be a great help

On a Mac, yes. Get some software called LineIn.
On a PC, who knows. Probably.

If your laptop has a line-in, you can simply connect your iPod headphone jack to the line in of your computer. Then, depending on your specific sound card and OS, you will have to play with setting to get audio playing through the line in to be audible. Finally, this will only work when the computer is on.
