I had a defective DSi, so I returned it (after registering it) and I got a new one

I registered that, giving me the rest of the points needed to gain Platinum Status

Apparently Gold/Platinum members receive some special gift at the end of the Nintendo Club year...

Anyone have an idea to what it might be?

Probably some cheap game like the Game and Watch collection.

    That costs points.

I don't think Nintendo would give away something that costs 800 points to someone with 600.

True. I'm not familiar with the point system. How much would a wii, a few games, a phat ds, a ds lite, and about 12 ds games be worth? I'm all for a free game if i can get it.

What's Platinum Status? I don't think you can get that on the UK Nintendo site :s

a lot 50 points for each wii game, 30 for each ds game, 10 points for each paid wii channel/dsi channel, and 10 points for each survey that you do (when you register a game surveys come up for that game)

so you can get a lot of stuff from nintendo

    xD

    300 points/coins/stars = Gold Status

    600 points/coins/stars = Platinum

I see... You get less coins for games than we get Stars.

For example... you get 50 coins for a Wii game - We get:

    100 Stars if it's less than £20
    200 Stars if it's between £20 and £30
    400 Stars if it's above £30

And our prizes aren't as good... Wii Fit hat? Wii Fit Harmonica? Wii Fit Scarf, Frisbee, Tshirt? The best thing is a bronze Zelda statue (which I'm saving up for) but it's 15,000 Stars... Need all the help in the world XD
