    Plastic cases vs. Rubber/Silicone Cases

I just bought a Plastic Griffin Case:

But I'm thinking that maybe a rubber/silicone one might be better:

jeez man. do you really think that is necessary??
    that is just stupid.

and buy a silicone case. very nice and easy to slip off and on. i have a speck pixelskin and they rarely catch lint!

i find incase slider to be the only case that doesn't make the ipod look 'fat'
i've had 2 silicon cases in the past but they catch too much lint. and something that shocked me was that i dropped my ipod about 4 feet with the silicon case on, and despite the 'protection' about 1/2mm of the corner chipped off, which i thought was weird. (the part that chipped off was covered by the case too, i didn't realize until i took it off couple days later)

Go for rubber, its more durable and can also be easily removed (for washing, lol)...

Eh, I personally like the plastic Griffin case, since it's easy to get on and off, and it does an alright job protecting the ipod.
