    Hi,

after if found an open WLan and can't access the panel of the router, i don't know if there are some PCs active, so i coded a little simple perl-script.

After i transfered it with scp on my iPod i "chown mobile FILE"ed my scipt and tried it. Not tested with iPhone, but should work.

I waited ca 4-5 minutes till finish. Timeout of a ping is set to 1 sec. So you need to wait 255 secs. 255 sec / 60 = 4,25 mins.

Hope it is usefull for some users. I need it to find a PC in the WLan which I can scan with nmap :>

It's read your IP on from en0 (don't know how the output of ifconfig from the iphone looks).
    For example you have 192.168.178.32:
It start to ping 192.168.178.0, waiting for an answer and try pinging 192.168.178.1, wait again 1 sec for an answer and so on untill 192.168.178.255.
If it get an answer it print "Found IP".

As i said, i hope it's usefull fore some people, but the most users don't know what they can do with this infos.
