It turns out that apps using Pinch Media's library may give you more than you bargained for.

Apparently Pinch Media, while not only pestering you in an incessant way to allow the use of location services, will try to push as much as it can about you to pinch media, including gender, birthdays and other info. Once the library has been allowed access, each launch will send your path through your area and location to Pinch Media, for well, pretty much whatever they want. It begs the question yet again of what apple is really doing in the app approval process, denying perfectly legitimate apps, will allowing software with the behaviour of Spyware
