iPod Linux was able to use the ipod's internal speaker to make songs from the ipod's clicks and beeps, and even play a little tune when the OS starts up. Would something like this be possible to do on the ipod touch?

    iPodLinux Piezo Maker

    Edit: Here's the ideas...
    - Metronome
    - Piano
    - More options for the alarm
    - Tune played on start up (not likely to happen)

I think it would also be cool if a metronome could be made with this too.

Love the metronome idea, but it wouldn't be very loud. If it clicked in both the headphones and piezo, then it would be awesome!

    Nice idea

I use my touch as an alarm clock regularly, so it would probably be loud enough for me.
It would be cool also if it could use a different beep for the first beat, like how MCM Band does it.

I remember a long time ago, back in 1.1.1 and 1.1.2, I edited the beeps and made the piezo clicker do a scale. Its a file located in the alarms, but you can activate it whenever basically.
