    How To Setup And Use Cyberduck

    Click On The Pictures To See Them Bigger If You Need To


    You Much Have OpenSSH Installed For This To Work, If Not, Download It Off Installer


    1. Download Cyberduck From Here: http://cyberduck.ch/

    2. Now Save The File

    3. Double Click On The File To Extract It

    4. Now Open The File That Was Extracted From The .dmg (Don't Open The .dmg)

    5. Now Drag Cyberduck To The Desktop

    6. Now Go To Your Applications Folder (For Me Its In Macintosh HD)

    7. Drag Cyberduck Into Your Applications Folder

    8. Double Click On Cyberduck Then Click Open

    9. Click Open Connect And This Is What Should Pop Up

    10. Now Follow This, Change Everything To What I Tell You:

    To Find iPhones/iPod Touch's IP Address, Go To Your Settings App, Tap Wifi, And Tap The Blue Arrow Next To The Wifi You Are Connected To And It Will Show You The IP Address

    Protocol: SFTP
    Server: Your Ip Address (Example: 192.168.1.5)
    Port: 22 (It might not work so change it to 21 if it doesn't)
    Username: root
    Password: alpine

    11. Now Click Connect And Wait About 30 Seconds And A Message Will Pop Up, When It Does Click Always(This Will Only Happen If This Is Your First Time SSHing Into Your iPhone/iPod Touch, Otherwise This Will Go Really Fast) (The Message Pops Up Every Time You Use A New IP Address)

    Just a clarification - the username and password are case sensitive (e.g., they should be "root" and "alpine" NOT "Root" and "Alpine")

    I know bumping is kinda hated, but i think that this thread should be known, i mean i put alot of work in it and its good for mac users
