I have a basic but working Picross app now. Still needs some work (e.g. checking for completion of puzzle, making it look nice, etc), and it currently only support 5x5 images but hopefully that will change soon.

    Couple of images:

Well, I've hit a little stumbling block at the moment in that whilst it an do 5x5 puzzles fine, it doesn't really work with larger puzzles due to lack of screen space.

I did get scrolling working (kind of) but it was pretty horrible and fairly unplayable.

I think that this is really due to my limited knowledge of the framework so there is still a lot of work to be done to make this playable.

oh that sucks, well i hope yopu can advance with it soon.

btw have you tried the DS picross approach, you start with the puzzle piting the whole sceen and then youi chooze where to zoom in, then you can switch between the mark tool and the move tool.

Well, good news and bad news on this.
The good news is that I've now got it working really nicely and it can do puzzles up to 10x15 (and I have a lot of puzzles so far).

The bad news is that as its build using the SDK you'll have to wait until June (or when I get my certificate).
