well i got photoshop today **cough** crack with keygen **cough**. before, i used ps on a 30 day trial before i knew how to use the keygen. so a long time ago after the 30 days expired i used imageready which had a 'magic eraser tool' aka it makes the selected area transparent. but now on ps, i cant see it!!

Magic wand. It looks like a wand with a glowing end on the toolbar. Click the area you want deleting and then press del

But the background needs to be set to transparent when you start the image otherwise it will just show the background colour

Edit: Nevermind. But do make sure to set it to transparent.

no its not necessarily magic wand - magic wand is for selection a certain color. for instance, if you have a rainbow and you want the blue transparent, choose the magic wand and click the blue area and any blue that is close to the same color and touching the area you selected will be selected too.

any selection tool will let you delete the way stated above
