Photoshop help

    I need a little help. im trying to make a glare but i dont know how to make a curved glare like in the picture below. thanks in advance

    i want to be able to make a glare that has a curve down the middle of the logo. So basically im asking: how do you make the glare in the logo pictured below

    o i see but its hard to explain.. here i go, all you do is use the elliptical (circle) dotted line thing and draw a circle. now shade it black and make it more transparent and it should look like this:

    i get it but how do make that into a glare to add to the apple logo

    but you need to make a new layer to put the black on first

    elliptical marquee tool, bottom highlight was probably just a low opac brush. once you have the selection you can fill the selection with white, apply mask, and gradient.

    the psd might help explain it better. Might give you the right idea.

    agh what ever happened to that thing that opened attachments in the window you were in ._. gotta retype this now

    the way i'd do it is to make a circley selection and then invert it and grab a white brush and paint all in the selection and then ctrl+click on the apple layer and go to the white layer and select inverse+press delete, then set it on soft light and go to blending effects and do a white->transparent gradient and play with the settings on that 'til it looked right

    I just get the Elliptical Marquee Tool and make a selection from the top to the bottom. Then I fill it in with white and set it to overlay.
