When iTunes optimized my images (that I first resized to max side 480px) at an average from 65kb for each image it makes a cache first. But the images in that cache are 650kb each. I have 2500 photos to put on my iPod Touch so that's a total of more than 1gb instead of a bit more that 100mb. Any way to bypass this 'optimization'? Maybe a program that scans the cache directory and compresses all the ithmb files.
