Has anyone had luck with the Places tab in the new photos app?

I can see the pins but the map won't load. The maps in all my other apps load including in the Maps.app.

I can zoom out and in as much as I want but it does nothing than just show the grey map.

Idk I can't find it on my iPod at all. Maybe because I'm on the gm.

Are you connected to the internet?

Are you using a Mac or PC? Photo's 'Places and Faces' only work if you are syncing from a Mac computer, and you have an already established iPhoto database with "faces and Places'.

Yes, I can load maps in any other application fine.
It's also weird that I don't even get the spinning wheel that it is trying to use internet like it does in every other app.

Also, I sync with a PC but places is still there.

Probably because you use an iPhone, and pictures taken with the camera are geotagged.

    Yep.

Is it working for anyone else though?
