Is there a phone available on 3 (uk) that will share its internet connection with the iPod touch? I read somewhere that it could be done with a phone running Windows Mobile. Is there another way? I think the connection is done by bluetooth, but I've never used a phone which can share its internet connection this way.

I realise it wont work with the iPod touch 1g so I'll wait for the third generation to be coming out in September.

I have the INQ1 which can share its internet connection with my laptop (mac and windows) via usb. Is there a device I can buy that would allow me to connect my ipod and phone via usb?

Sorry for the n00b questions guys!

He means is there a Phone that emits its 3G connection as WiFi so that the iPod can connect it it, I think.

I Dont think so but there is a JB app for the iPhone called MyWi or PDAnet

Check out the WMWifiRouter. It is a program that runs on certain Smartphones that allows them to share their wifi with the iPod Touch (running 2.0 firmware).

PDANet works on Android, PalmOS, Blackberry, Windows Mobile phones and jailbroken iPhones.
