IMO, the best feature of the connector is its reversibility.

I like the new dock connector. I was surprised they kept the ancient one around so long.

Wireless charging is no more complicated than wired charging. I'll tell you why. Either way, there are two connections: one to the wall socket, and one to the device. The first connection is to the wall socket always, but the second one could just as simply be wireless as wired. It doesn't matter how the second connection is made; it's still one single connection.

Or you could do it like the HP touchpad or the palm 2 or 3...

I'm sure most of us didn't care about it being thinner or reversible... Seriously since when this was a major issue???

Now, USB3 transfer speeds would have been an amazing new thing to see with this whole dock connector mess, to actually make it worth it. But no apple, you did it again. Syncing GBs of music and backing up on iTunes will continue to take ages. And you dare to call this connector "lightning"??? Wtf!!!

Thunderbolt has been out for more than a year now yet few other than a couple storage devices support it, and recent inclusion of USB3 in MacBooks just make plain no sense for the average users. Thank you once more apple.

They never mentioned if it's USB 3.0... did they?
